With few minutes of driving you get the Parco del Monte Fuso, where you can do trekking, get a horse ride, practice archery, and you have the opportunity to meet deers, mouflons, foxes, dormouses and badgers.
The Parco dei Cento Laghi, that occupy a vast area of Appennino Tosco Emiliano, with its great net of paths allows trekking. You can rest at the mountain cabin of CAI “Mariotti”, set near Lago Santo. You can go climbing in a gorgeous panorama, from Alpi to the Liguria sea.

In the vicinity there are charming old fortresses, with their villages that takes us in ancient times, like the castles of Torrechiara and Canossa, the Reggia of Colorno, etc.
